House without WHEELS part 02

Just over 6 weeks in Thailand and it flew by and we are no sooner on our bus ride to Phuket for our Malaysian Airline flights direct to Adelaide. Plus a chance for us to catch up with Sue's daughter.

Thanks to Margaret and Ashley for some progress photo's during our foray in Thailand - included in Part 01.
Well progress has been made, but still at least 4 to 6 weeks away from completion

Seven weeks to the day - and the construction key still works - hand over scheduled for 1330hrs tomorrow 23rd. Meanwhile we get to checkout our new house soon to be our home without WHEELS!!

We all missed it - when we departed there was a big hole here for what I assumed would be big enough for the _______
DOUBLE cavity sliding doors to the 3rd bed room / office. As the lads were still onsite completing the decking and within 10 minutes the chippy was into the remedial corrections

Returning from our 10 day get away in the Lincoln National Park - yet another BLOG 

Our Giamar roller tilt shutters have arrived - 3 days from Melbourne. Installer arriving on Sunday for a Monday morning start
and we are into it!

Our installer - a perfect match for the job as he made the shutters and was proud of his work, being third generation in the shutter business 

All done and few last minute tips - don't get a chair of pot plant stuck under the shutter coming down.
